Gaza: 83 Palestinians killed, 105 injured by Israeli indiscriminate bombings last 24hrs

(The Muslim News): At least 83 Palestinians killed and 105 others injured by Israeli Defence Forces’ indiscriminate bombings  in Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours according to Health Ministry.  This has increased the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli bombings to 35,386 and 79,366 others injured since last October, the Health Ministry in the besieged enclave said on Saturday.

In addition Israeli attacks in the past few hours have killed at least 40 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip, according to Al Jazeera and Wafa News Agency.

The attacks include targeting people filling up their water containers as well as missile strikes on houses.

In northern Gaza, meanwhile, medical sources confirmed that the death toll from an earlier Israeli airstrike on Jabalia refugee camp has risen to 28. The victims include 10 children and 10 women, with a large number of injuries. This attack targeted a residential square near Kamal Adwan Hospital

At least 14 Palestinians were killed by an air strike near Kamal Adwan Hospital, with searches continuing for those trapped under the rubble.

While pressing on with its Rafah offensive, the Israeli military fired a drone at a car leaving the city, killing at least one person and injuring others.

At least eight people, including women and children, have been reported killed and 10 were wounded after Israeli artillery shelling targeted a group of Palestinians filling water containers in the al-Faluja area, west of Jabalia camp, in northern Gaza today.

“We were displaced to the Faluja area, which is considered a safe area, and suddenly this place was shelled by the Israelis. We do not know where to go,” a witness said.

Video footage shared online and verified by Al Jazeera showed how the attack turned the area into a pool of blood, as well as the impact of shrapnel on shops and homes at the site of the bombing.

A car has been struck by a drone in the western part of Rafah city while it was going to central Gaza on the coastal road. One person has been reported killed and other passengers have been severely injured.

Three civilians, including children, were killed this evening in an Israeli airstrike on the eastern neighborhood of Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, according to local sources, reported Wafa.

The sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a group of people in the eastern area of the camp, resulting in the killing of three civilians and injuring dozens more, including children.

Five civilians were killed and several others injured today in an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of people in the Nuseirat refugee camp, located in central Gaza, according to local sources.

Sources said that the humanitarian situation inside the camp, which has been subjected to continuous bombardment for days, is catastrophic, in light of the siege imposed on the families still inside it, in light of the scarcity of the necessities of life, such as food, water, and medicines.

Ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach the camp and retrieve bodies and injuries from inside it, which portends a real disaster.

Additionally, three civilians were also killed and others were injured as a result of the occupation targeting a house for the Qadeeh family, east of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip.

A civilian was killed and others were injured in an Israeli occupation bombing that targeted the Jabalia refugee camp, in the northern Gaza Strip.

Wesam Bakr, the director of the Jenin Governmental Hospital, identified the young man killed as Islam Khamayseh.

Medical sources also confirmed that among the injuries were a young girl, who sustained moderate injuries from fragments resulting from the Israeli airstrike and the ensuring massive explosion.

The Israeli airstrike also destroyed the targeted house, levelling it to the ground, and caused damage to neighboring homes, properties, and infrastructure.

The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital reported on Saturday that bodies of 28 Palestinians, including children and women, arrived at the hospital following an Israeli bombing near the facility in the northern Gaza Strip.

In a press statement, Hossam Abu Safiya, the director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital, said: “28 Palestinian bodies, including 10 children and 10 women, arrived at the hospital following Israeli bombing targeting the hospital vicinity.”

“We lost many of the wounded due to the lack of essential medical resources needed to save them,” he said.

“The situation is catastrophic due to the lack of a health system and the unavailability of medicines and basic medical supplies,” added Safiya.

More than 630,000 people have now fled Israel’s advance on southern Rafah with another 100,000 escaping from the ground assault on the north. injured.

Israeli warplanes bombed the town of Khuza’a, some 8km (5 miles) east of Khan Younis, killing at least four people and injuring others, according to the Wafa news agency.

The attack comes after our earlier report of an Israeli shelling of a home near the city that killed one person.

They said that continued Israeli airstrikes on the camp and its vicinity are posing challenges for medical teams in transporting both the deceased and the wounded.

Meanwhile, Al-Awda Hospital officials released a statement indicating that “20 individuals were admitted with injuries due to the occupation (forces’) targeting of Palestinians in the Jabalia camp.”

In the southern Gaza Strip, medical sources told Anadolu Agency that at least six people were dead and five wounded were admitted to the Kuwait Hospital in the city of Rafah after a bombing by Israeli aircraft.

Witnesses told Anadolu that the Israeli army targeted a house in the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, killing a number of Palestinians and wounding several others.

Meanwhile, one Palestinian was killed in an Israeli fighter jet airstrike on a home in the Jenin refugee camp in northern occupied West Bank, reports Anadolu.

The Health Ministry said six others were injured in the strike and arrived at the two hospitals in Jenin.

The Israeli army on Friday claimed to have recovered the bodies of three Israelis from the Gaza Strip who were killed on Oct. 7.

At a news conference, the Israeli army spokesperson Daniel Hagari named the three Israelis as Itzhak Gelerenter, Amit Buskia, and Shani Louk.

He added that the bodies were recovered in cooperation between the Israeli army and the general security service (Shin Bet), but did not specify from where in Gaza they were recovered.

According to the Israeli government, 1,139 Israelis were killed by Hamas on October 7 in southern Israel, and 134 Israelis and foreign nationals are still detained by Hamas in Gaza.
