Gaza: 82 Palestinians killed, 110 injured by Israeli bombings last 24 hours
Gaza City, (Wafa News Agency): 82 Palestinians were killed and 110 others wounded by indiscriminate bombings by Israel in Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health. The death toll of Palestinians from Israeli deadly attacks since 7 October 2023 has gone up to 32,070, including 13,000 children, and 74,298 injured in Gaza Strip according to Ministry of Health. 8,5000 Palestinians are missing.
A morning air attack on a residential building by Israeli forces has killed 10 people in the northwest of Gaza City.
Israeli air attacks continue across Gaza, including separate strikes on homes in Rafah and Khan Younis which have killed 11 people.
Israel has bombed several buildings at al-Shifa Hospital and burned down its vascular department, Gaza’s Health Ministry says.
Israel forces also detained about 240 patients and 10 health personnel at the Prince Nayef Center, the hospital’s radiology unit, the ministry added.
Al-Shifa, the Gaza Strip’s largest hospital before the current conflict started, is one of the few healthcare facilities that is even partially operational in the north of the enclave.
Several Palestinian civilians were reported killed this evening as a result of being targeted by Israeli occupation forces in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
In Rafah, southern Gaza, at least one individual was killed when Israeli occupation forces bombarded a group of civilians west of the city.
Additionally, a Palestinian was killed in an Israeli bombardment which targeted a location near the Mediterranean beach north of the city of Rafah. His body was transported to Al-Kuwaiti Hospital in the city.
In the meantime, two Palestinians were killed and others were injured as a result of Israeli occupation forces targeting the house of the Ayad family in the Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City.
The Israeli artillery also shelled the eastern areas of Khan Younis city, while warplanes renewed their airstrikes west of the Nusseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
In central Gaza, at least one Palestinian was injured by Israeli sniper fire in the in the village of Mughragha.
Several Palestinian civilians, including three children, were killed and injured in an Israeli airstrike early Friday morning northeast of Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, according to local sources.
The sources reported that the occupation forces targeted a residential building in the neighborhood of Nasr, northeast of Rafah, resulting in the killing of eight Palestinians and the injury of others.
The same sources added that among the victims were three children and three women, with some of the injured being in critical condition.
In a related context, Israeli fighter jets bombed a house on Tarazi Street in Deir al-Balah.
Local sources reported that 10 civilians were killed as a result of the Israeli forces shelling of the Al-Qouqa family’s house northwest of Gaza City.
Additionally, three civilians were killed after being targeted by a missile from Israeli drones in the Al-Zana area east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. Their bodies were transferred to the European Hospital in Gaza, bringing the number of martyrs taken to the hospital since yesterday to 20.
Early on Friday, eight civilians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the house of the Abu Thabet family in the Nasr neighborhood north of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli warplanes also targeted the house of the Abu Eisha family in Deir al-Balah city and launched airstrikes on the Nusairat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, as well as on areas in Jabalia and Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to Israeli government 1,139 Israelis were killed by Hamas on 7 October in southern Israel and 134 Israelis and foreign nationals are still detained by Hamas in Gaza.
