(The Muslim News): 137 Palestinians have been killed and 340 injured by indiscriminate bombings by Israeli Defence Forces in Gaza Strip in the last 48 hours according to Health Ministry. This has led to the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli bombings since 7 October to at least 35,903 and 80,420 others injured in Gaza Strip, according to the Health Ministry in the besieged enclave said on Saturday.

Israel intensified military operations in Gaza despite the UN’s top court, ICJ ordering it to immediately halt its assault on Rafah.

At least 20 Palestinians were killed and many others injured on Saturday in a series of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian official news agency Wafa reported that “20 citizens, including children and women, were killed and others were injured on Saturday as a result of the continuous bombardment by occupation aircraft north of Gaza City.”

Medical sources reported that at least 10 Palestinians were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli attack on a house next to shelter centers in Beit Hanoun.

Another 10 Palestinians were killed and 17 others were injured in an Israeli attack targeting the Al-Nazla School in the Al-Saftawi area, the sources added.

Six civilians were killed this evening in an Israeli airstrike on the Nusseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted the market area in the Nusseirat refugee camp, resulting in the killing of six civilians and injuring dozens, including children.

Two Palestinian civilians were killed and others injured this evening in an Israeli airstrike on the city of Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli warplanes targeted the area of Al-Najma roundabout in the Shaboura refugee camp in central Rafah, resulting in the killing of two civilians and the injury of several others.

Scores of civilians were killed or injured over the last few hours as the Israeli occupation forces continue their relentless offensive on the Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that four civilians were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a residential apartment belonging to the Joudeh family in Al-Nuri Tower, north of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli warplanes further opened heavy gunfire targeting east of the city of Deir al-Balah.

Meanwhile, a number of civilians were wounded as a result of artillery shelling and gunfire by Israeli warplanes and military tanks that targeted the neighborhoods of Sheikh Ajlin, Tal al-Hawa, and al-Zaytoun in Gaza City.

Intense explosions were also heard in the Shuhada Junction area, south of Gaza City.

Simultaneously, occupation tanks opened fire in the vicinity of the University College of Applied Sciences, 8th Street in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood southwest of Gaza City, and Al-Nafaq Street in the north, causing injures among civilians.

Ambulance and civil crews are finding difficulties in reaching the targeted areas due the intensity of the fire and the ongoing shelling.

In Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli forces launched a series of airstrikes on many areas.

The Israeli artillery fired dozens of shells at the eastern border areas between the cities of Deir al-Balah, Khan Yunis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

Over 20,000 patients are waiting for the opening of the Rafah crossing to leave the Gaza Strip for treatment, the Health Ministry in besieged Palestinian enclave said on Saturday.

In a statement, ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra said “since Israel reoccupied the Rafah crossing, no patients have been able to leave the Gaza Strip,” noting that “even those who are abroad cannot return to their homeland.”

“More than 20,000 patients suffering of cancer, heart and blood diseases are waiting for the opening of the crossing in inhumane conditions due to the occupation, siege and war of extermination imposed on civilians in Gaza.”

The official termed it “a war crime and a blatant violation of the health rights of patients stipulated in international humanitarian law.”

He urged the international community to intervene and save the victims from complications and death, highlighting Israeli attacks on health care facilities have rendered them inoperative.

Witnesses told Anadolu that an Israeli warplane targeted a non-governmental women’s activity center in the camp, resulting in casualties that also included children. Medical teams and civil defense crews were working to search for victims from under the rubble, they said.

Meanwhile, no hospitals are currently accessible in North Gaza governorate; and communicable diseases are on the rise, with children under five particularly affected, the World Health Organization reports.

Some displaced people in central Gaza are now surviving on three per cent of the minimum standard for daily water needs, warn international NGOs.

Network outages, insecurity, and access challenges continue to disrupt aid operations in Gaza, reports the Emergency Telecommunications Cluster.
Gaza Strip Updates

Israeli bombardment from the air, land, and sea continues to be reported across much of the Gaza Strip, resulting in further civilian casualties, displacement, and destruction of houses and other civilian infrastructure. Ground incursions and heavy fighting also continue to be reported, especially in Jabalya as well as eastern and central Rafah.

According to the Israeli government, 1,139 Israelis were killed by Hamas on October 7 in southern Israel, and 134 Israelis and foreign nationals are still detained by Hamas in Gaza.
