Gaza: 54 Palestinians killed, 104 injured by Israeli bombings last 24hrs
Gaza City, (OCHA, Al Jazeera, Wafa, AA): At least 54 Palestinians were killed and 104 others injured by Israeli indiscriminate bombings in Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, according to Ministry of Health. This brings to the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli Defence Forces in Gaza Strip since 7 October to at least 34,151, including 14,520 children and 10,000 women and 77,084 others injured including 12,000 children, according to Ministry of Health. In addition further 12,000 Palestinians are reported missing, presumed dead under the rubble.

Israeli bombardment from the air, land, and sea continues to be reported across much of the Gaza Strip, resulting in further civilian casualties, displacement, and destruction of houses and other civilian infrastructure.
Airstrikes on Rafah have heightened concerns of an escalation in this southernmost area of Gaza, which is already hosting over half of Gaza’s population, many of whom have been displaced multiple times and are living in desperate conditions
Several Palestinians were killed and many others injured early Monday in Israeli airstrikes on several areas in the central and southern Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondents said that an Israeli artillery shelling targeted the east of Al-Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip, as an Israeli raid targeted the southeastern area of Khan Yunis in the south of the Strip.
A number of Palestinians were killed and many others were injured in an Israeli raid that targeted Al-Taqwa Mosque in Bureij Camp in the central Gaza Strip, while an Israeli raid targeted the north of Nuseirat Camp in the central Gaza Strip, and another targeted the entrance to the Bureij Camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Additionally, a number of civilians were injured as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted the vicinity of Al-Sawarha cemetery in Nuseirat camp, and as a result of targeting a house in Al-Brook area in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The Israeli bombing also targeted Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, and Al-Mawasi area, west of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources said that Israeli air force launched two raids tonight on the southern areas of Gaza City and on Al-Tuffah neighborhood.
Health sources in the Gaza Strip reported that the number of civilians killed in Israeli raids on two homes in Rafah had risen to 26, including 16 children and 6 women.
A number of Palestinians were killed and many others were injured, most of them children, as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted a house west of Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes bombed a house for Al-Nuwairi family in Nuseirat camp, leading to the killing of seven Palestinians.
The sources said a number of Palestinians had succumbed to injuries they sustained in the Israeli air raids on Saturday evening targeting two houses, one in eastern Rafah and the other in its center.
They noted that others are still missing under the rubble.
Israeli artillery tonight bombarded different locations in the Gaza Strip, causing damage but no injuries, according to WAFA correspondent.
Israeli forces advanced into the town of Beit Hanoun, in the north of the Strip, from various directions amid intensive gunfire, said WAFA correspondent.
The Israeli artillery also shelled the vicinity of shelter centers in the said town.
Israeli artillery also targeted al-Shaima’a Street in Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza, as military vehicles and quadcopter drones opened fire targeting al-Mughraqa and al-Zahra areas in the center of the Strip.
The Israeli warplanes also bombed a house in the Al-Sahaba area in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City.
Meanwhile, health workers have uncovered at least 283 bodies of people from a mass grave at the Nasser Hospital in the southern city of Khan Younis, Gaza’s civil defense agency said Monday.
“Civil defense crews retrieved 73 more bodies from the mass grave, bringing the total figure to 283 bodies since Saturday,” the agency said in a statement.
According to the statement, civil defense crews are still searching for more bodies in the grave.
A mass grave was found in the hospital’s courtyard on Saturday after the Israeli army withdrew from the city on April 7 following a 4-month ground offensive.
According to Ismail al-Thawabteh of Gaza’s government media office, around 700 people have been unaccounted for since the Israeli army withdrawal from the city.
“We believe that there are hundreds of bodies still missing after being executed by the Israeli occupation and buried in mass graves,” he told Anadolu Agency.
According to Israeli government 1,139 Israelis were killed by Hamas on 7 October in southern Israel and 134 Israelis and foreign nationals are still detained by Hamas in Gaza.
