Palestine, Agencies: Israeli soldiers shot and killed, on Saturday evening, 16-year-old Palestinian at the entrance to the Al-Aroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank, according to Ministry of Health.
The killing occured when Israeli soldiers opened fire on Palestinian youths protesting Israeli military presence in the camp. Israeli soldiers opened fire at the Palestinian youths with live ammunition and tear gas canisters.
Israeli soldiers stationed in a military tower at the entrance to the Al-Aroub refugee camp, shot and critically injured a 16-year-old Palestinian child in the back with a live round and dozens of Palestinian youths were injured due to inhalation from tear gas fired by the soldiers.
Medical sources at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that a child was critically injured by live bullets in the back and chest, and its crews performed resuscitation efforts during the transfer to Al-Yamamah Hospital in Bethlehem.
Doctors at the hospital pronounced the child, identified as Milad Munther Al-Ra’i, 16, dead, as a result of a critical gunshot wound. This was confirmed by Ministry of Health.
Israeli Hebrew Channel 14 alleged that the Israeli army “eliminated a Palestinian who endangered their lives”, failing to provide any justification for the killing of the child, reported imemc.org.
