Vanna White Reveals New Wheel of Fortune Contract Request
anna White has revealed the one dietary demand she has made of the Wheel of Fortune crew after negotiating her new contract.
White, who has co-hosted the popular game show since 1982, recently extended her deal to remain on the program through the 2025-26 season after negotiating her first pay raise in 18 years, according to Deadline. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Now in a video posted to the Wheel of Fortune Instagram account, the game show host has revealed how she spends her time when she’s backstage on set—and the video has been “liked” by new co-host Ryan Seacrest.
“So, what do I do when I’m back here? Besides crochet, briefly, look at my puzzles. They always have little snacks back here,” White explained.
“This is what I get,” she said while holding up a box of mixed nuts. “They used to bring cookies, they used to bring chips, they used to bring all the bad snacks and I used to eat them and I said ‘Do not bring them anymore.’ They bring nuts and they bring chocolate, I try not to eat it though.”

Newsweek emailed Sony Pictures Television, which owns Wheel of Fortune, for comment on Friday.
People took to the comments to share their love for Vanna, with one person writing: “I love seeing what you do back stage!!! The healthy snacks would be nice!!”

The show is about to have a big shake-up, as Pat Sajak’s tenure as host is coming to an end. The 77-year-old has been the face of the iconic game show since 1981 and has filmed his final episode, which will air on June 7.
“Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last. It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all. (If nothing else, it’ll keep the clickbait sites busy!),” Sajak announced on X in June 2023.
Just days after Sajak shared the news, American Idol’s Ryan Seacrest was named as Wheel of Fortune’s next host. He will take over for Season 42 this fall.
Seacrest revealed his new role in an Instagram post, in which he praised Sajak and shared his excitement about joining “the great” Vanna White on the show.
