“With their arrests, police have seiz multiple international-brand life savings fake cancer/diabetes micines worth crores of rupees,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Rakesh Paweriya said.

“During the probe, it reveal that the syndicate operat in connivance with foreign nationals. An information was receiv that a Syrian national was coming to Delhi for the deal of fake micines,” the DCP said.
On May 14, a trap laid at New Delhi Railway Station and Monir Ahmad apprehended, he DCP.
Monir Ahmad told police that he act as a carrier to supply the fake micines between Turkey, Egypt and India and was involv regularly in supplying Turkish and Egyptian micines to India and Indian micines to the two countries, the DCP said.
