Gaza: 87 Palestinians killed, 300 injured by Israeli bombings last 48hrs

Israeli indiscriminate attacks in the Gaza Strip in the last 48 hours, has killed 87 Palestinians and injured 300 others, according to Health Ministry. This brings total Palestinians killed since 7 October 2023 to 33,797, including 14,520 children and 9,560 women and 76,465 others injured according to the Health Ministry in the besieged enclave. In addition further 12,000 Palestinians are reported missing, presumed dead under the rubble.

The Israeli army killed three Palestinians and injured a number of others in an airstrike late Sunday targeting a residential building in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

“Three martyrs and others injured were brought to Al-Awda Hospital as a result of an Israeli airstrike on the home of the Arabi family northwest of Nuseirat refugee camp,” said an Anadolu correspondent, quoting a medical source who requested anonymity.

He added that the ongoing bombardment of the camp targeted Hassan al-Banna Mosque in the new camp west of Nuseirat, resulting in its complete destruction.

For the second time, Israeli artillery shelled the minaret of the destroyed Al-Qassam Mosque in the camp without any reported injuries, according to the correspondent.

He also reported that Israeli warplanes fired two concussion missiles in the Al-Mufti area in the Nuseirat camp, causing deep craters.

Three Palestinian children who were players at Al-Wahda Academy in Gaza were killed in Israeli raids on the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, the sports institution announced Sunday

“We are torn over the martyrdom of players Sami Bilal Abu Issa and Muhammad Bilal Abu Issa from Al Wahda Academy,” it said in a statement.

In a separate statement, the academy said the child Adam Ramez Nabhan was killed in another Israeli bombing on Friday.

A medical source confirmed to Anadolu that players Sami Abu Issa, 4, and Muhammad Abu Issa, 6, who were brothers, were killed on Saturday in an Israeli bombing that targeted a residential house in the center of the city.

The source said that Nabhan, 6, was killed in another Israeli bombing on Friday.

Israeli forces again bombed the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing five and wounding dozens

Two Palestinian children and a woman Monday evening were killed in two Israeli airstrikes to the north and west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central blockaded Gaza Strip, according to health sources.

They said that Israeli warplanes carried out four airstrikes, killing two children, as others were wounded by Israeli military gunfire to the north of the refugee camp.

This came as an Israeli drone targeted a house in as-Sawarha area, west of the refugee camp, killing a woman and wounding others.

Meanwhile, according to the sources, the bodies of five people were recovered from the wreckage of destroyed houses across the city of Khan Younes, in addition to the bodies of nine others out of 400 people who had been slain by the occupation forces around al-Shifa Medical Complex.

The Israeli forces blew up several houses close to the area of Wadi Gaza, north of the refugee camp, as Israeli warplanes pounded the city of Deir al-Balah, the area surrounding Street 5 in Khan Younes, the eastern neighbourhoods of the city of Gaza and Tal al-Hawa neighbourhood, southwest of Gaza.

At least two civilians were killed and others were injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting a group of civilians north of Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip in the central Gaza Strip.

Earlier today, a young Palestinian child identified as Malak Haniyeh succumbed to her wounds as a result of an Israeli airstrike that targeted her family’s vehicle in the first day of Eid al-Fitr in al-Shati refugee camp.

The airstrike also resulted in the killing of Malak`s father along with members of her family.

Five civilians were killed and dozens of others were injured tonight in Israeli airstrikes targeting a house northwest of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, Israeli warplanes shelled the house of the ‘Arabi family northwest of the Nuseirat camp, killing five people and injuring dozens of others. The occupation fighter aircraft also bombarded a mosque in the said camp, completely leveling it to the ground.

The Israeli artillery also bombed a residential tower in the same camp.

According to medical sources, the bodies of several people were recovered from under the sand walls that were set up by the occupation army in the Beit Lahia housing project in northern Gaza, noting that the bodies of four people were recovered in different areas in Khan Yunis since this morning.

According to Israeli government 1,139 Israelis were killed by Hamas on 7 October in southern Israel and 134 Israelis and foreign nationals are still detained by Hamas in Gaza.
