Gaza: 51 killed, 75 injured by Israeli bombardment last 24hrs

(Gaza City (Al Jazeera, Wafa, AA): 51 Palestinian were killed and 75 others injured by indiscriminate bombings by Israeli Defence Forces i Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours. This brings to the total Palestinians killed by Israeli forces since 7 October to at least 34,356 and 77,368 others injured. In addition, 12,000 Palestinians are still missing.
Several Palestinians were killed and many others injured on Friday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a gathering of civilians near a school sheltering displaced people in the southern Gaza Strip.
An Israeli warplane bombed an area near Faisal School in the city of Khan Younis, killing and injuring several Palestinians, witnesses told Anadolu Agency.
They reported that the school shelters displaced Palestinians from various areas in the Gaza Strip and that the airstrike “caused panic and fear among the people.”
Meanwhile, Gaza’s civil defense agency said that five Palestinians were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted agricultural land in the Al-Nusairat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian news agency Wafa reports that five civilians were killed this evening by Israeli bombardments of the central and southern Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent said that the occupation warplanes bombed the vicinity of the Faisal School in the Japanese Neighborhood of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, which led to the killing of three civilians.
Two civilians were also killed and others were injured in Israeli airstrikes that targeted a location in the Sawarha area to the west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Strip.
A civilian was killed and several others were injured today in Israeli aerial strikes launched against the town of Az-Zawayda in the central Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, ambulance and rescue teams are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of ambulance and civil defense teams.
Earlier today, Israeli fighter jets bombed a house belonging to Al-Shawa family in the Al-Remal neighborhood. Subsequently, rescue and ambulance crews retrieved the bodies of three victims, including a child and a woman, along with several injured individuals from under the rubble of the targeted house.
The casualties and the injured were transported to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital, the last functioning hospital in Gaza City after Israeli occupation forces destroyed the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Gaza’s largest healthcare facility, during a major invasion of the western region of the city last month.
Israeli warplanes also targeted the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood south of Gaza City, as well as a residential building on Al-Wehda Street in the city center, resulting in the killing of at least one civilian and the injury of others.
In Rafah, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, a fisherman was killed and another was injured by Israeli occupation forces while they were working off the Mediterranean coast of the city.
Additionally, rescue teams managed to retrieve the body of a Palestinian from under the rubble of the Jouda family’s house in the Shaboura refugee camp, which was targeted by an Israeli airstrike last Saturday.
Simultaneously, Israeli artillery shelled the Nuseirat and Bureij camps in central Gaza, while the Israeli forces demolished homes and facilities in the neighboring town of Al-Maghazi.
In central Gaza, Israeli warplanes launched heavy airstrikes in the northern areas of Nusseirat and Maghazi refugee camps, as well as in the town of Al-Zawayda. Additionally, Israeli forces demolished residential buildings in nearby Al-Mughraqa town.
Simultaneously, Israeli artillery shelled areas north of Beit Lahia town, and the eastern areas of the northern Gaza Strip. Furthermore, Israeli military vehicles fired live ammunition along the northern border of the Strip.
According to Israeli government 1,139 Israelis were killed by Hamas on 7 October in southern Israel and 134 Israelis and foreign nationals are still detained by Hamas in Gaza.
