(The Muslim News): 154 Palestinians have been killed and 348 others injured in Israeli Defence Forces’ indiscriminate bombings in Gaza Strip in the last 48 hours, reports Ministry of Health. The Palestinian death toll has therefore mounted to 35,800 by relentless Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since last Oct. 7, the Ministry of Health in the besieged enclave said on Thursday. At least 80,200 Palestinians have also been injured in the Israeli offensive, the ministry added in a statement.

At least 12 Palestinians, including children and women, were killed Thursday, and others injured as Israeli warplanes struck a government facility housing displaced Palestinians in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

A medical source reported to Anadolu Agency that the dead, along with a large number of injuries, were taken to the Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital after the airstrike targeted a Ministry of Social Development building.

The facility serves as a shelter for a considerable number of displaced Palestinians, according to witnesses, who reported that medical teams and civil defense units were engaged in a search for casualties at the target area.

Earlier, the Gaza Ministry of Health warned again about the imminent shutdown of services at the hospital within three hours at 7 pm local time.

Three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike in Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday, according to eye witnesses.

The fatalities occurred when an Israeli drone hit the three as they were attempting to reach their houses in Faluja town in northern Gaza, witnesses said.

Meanwhile, Israeli fighter jets pounded a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of the city of Gaza, resulting in more fatalities and casualties.

Israeli occupation troops Thursday morning stormed Al-Awda Hospital in Jabalia, and forced medical crews to leave it, after a four-day siege.

Medical sources said that the Israeli forces stormed the hospital and forced the medical crews to leave it towards western Gaza City, after detaining one of them, reported Wafa News Agency.

The same sources added that 14 hospital employees, 11 injured people and companions remain in the hospital, noting that they refused to leave unless ambulances were present to evacuate the wounded.

They pointed out that the governorates of Gaza and the northern Gaza Strip were unable to provide health services completely in light of the Israeli targeting of the health system during the ongoing aggression since last October 7.

Nine Palestinians, including children and women, were killed in the Israeli airstrike on the school that was sheltering displaced Palestinians in the al-Daraj neighborhood, and their bodies were brought to the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, a medical source told Anadolu Agency.

Meanwhile, in the Nuseirat refugee camp, central Gaza Strip, an Israeli airstrike on a home for the Shehab family left eight Palestinians killed, according to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.

It added that another Israeli airstrike on a home for the Al-Sha’er family in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, left one Palestinian killed.

Other Israeli shelling was reported across the Gaza Strip as the Israeli army continues its intensive attacks against Rafah and the Jabalia area in the northern Gaza Strip.

At least seven Palestinians were killed Wednesday when an Israeli warplane bombed a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Medical teams recovered seven bodies, including those of women and children, as well as an unspecified number of wounded, eyewitnesses told an Anadolu correspondent.

The witnesses said the bombardment resulted in the destruction of a house belonging to al-Shami family and caused significant damage to the homes of residents in the adjacent area, which shelters displaced people.

They said medical teams and civil defense personnel are still searching for the dead and injured at the site.

Meanwhile, the death toll of Palestinians from the Israeli military operation in Jenin, the northern occupied West Bank, rose to 12 in addition to 25 others injured.

In a statement, the Ministry of Health said Mustafa Jabareen, 31, succumbed to the wounds he sustained from Israeli fire, bringing the tally to 12, including four children killed since the start of the Israeli operation on Tuesday.

Earlier on Thursday, the Israeli forces withdrew from Jenin and its refugee camp, marking the 72nd Israeli military operation in Jenin since Oct. 7.

Tensions have been running high across the West Bank since Israel launched a deadly military offensive against the Gaza Strip after an attack by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023.

At least 517 Palestinians have since been killed and over 4,900 others injured by Israeli army fire in the occupied territory, according to the Ministry of Health.

According to the Israeli government, 1,139 Israelis were killed by Hamas on October 7 in southern Israel, and 134 Israelis and foreign nationals are still detained by Hamas in Gaza.
