Gaza: 125 Palestinians killed, 265 injured by Israeli bombing in 24 hours

Gaza, (Wafa news agency and AA and agenies); Israel’s relentless attack on Gaza continues with 125 Palestinians killed and 265 wounded over the past 24 hours.

The NetBlocks observatory says the more than 48-hour outage has left “most residents cut off” as the war in the enclave passes the 100-day mark.

The monitor added that operator Paltel has said that two of its repair crews have been killed while trying to restore service.

Dozens of Palestinian civilians were killed and dozens of others were injured, while a number of missing persons were reported, in a series of raids launched by Israeli occupation aircraft, artillery, and gunboats on various areas in the Gaza Strip.

On the 100th day of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, medical sources at Shifa complex in Gaza City said that four people were killed, including three from the Sheikh Ajlin neighborhood.

At least one citizen was killed and several others were injured as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a civilian car in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Two citizens were killed and others were injured in an Israeli occupation aircraft bombing two citizens while they were repairing a sewage line in the town of Abasan, east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

10 bodies were found in a house after Israel’s vehicles retreated from the entrance to Al-Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip following a massacre committed by the Israeli occupation.

Ambulance crews also recovered the bodies of two people from the telecommunications company’s crews whose car the occupation targeted Satruday downtown in Khan Yunis.

The Israeli Defvence Forces’ artillery bombed the town of Al-Zawaida in the middle of the Gaza Strip, as the Israeli warplanes bombed the neighborhoods of Tal Al-Hawa and Sheikh Ajlin, west of Gaza City. The warplanes also bombed a house for the Abu Al-Sabah family in the Al-Bassa area in Deir Al-Balah in the middle of the Strip, which led to a number of casualties.

An airstrike targeted the center of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, and another raid targeted the northeastern areas of the Bureij camp in the center of the Gaza Strip. People heard explosions and Israeli shelling around Route 10, south of Gaza City.

According to Gaza Health Authority, 23,968 Palestinians have been killed, including 10,400 children, 7,100 women and 60,582 injured by indiscriminate bombing by Israeli Defence Forces in Gaza Strip since 7 October.  7,000 Palestinians are still missing.

According Israeli authorities, 1,139 Israeli were killed by Hamas in south Israel on October 7. 138 Israelis are still held captive by Hamas in Gaza.

Meanwhile, in the West Bank the Red Crescet Society said in a statement that the Israeli army handed over to their crews the bodies of two youths who were shot in Wadi al-Rim near Sa’ir.

The General Authority for Civil Affairs said that it informed the Ministry of Health of the death of Ahmed Musa Muhammad Jabareen and Jalal Issa Mohammad Jabareen by Israeli forces near Sa’ir.

With the killing of the two youths, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank city today has risen to three.

A 14-year-old boy was killed by Israeli forces in Ain Sultan camp north of Jericho earlier Sunday.

Medical sources said that the child, Louay Al-Sufi, 14, from Ain Al-Sultan camp, died as a result of being shot in the chest by Israeli soldiers after they targeted Palestinian civilians with live bullets during their storming of the camp. He was transferred to Jericho Governmental Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Around 5,875 Palestinians have been detained in 100 days of Israeli military raids in the occupied West Bank, according to figures released by the Palestinian Prisoner Society.

“The details included 335 children and 200 women,” the Palestinian Prisoner Society said in a statement.

More than 2,856 Palestinians have been held without trial or charge under Israel’s notorious policy of administrative detention since Oct. 7, the NGO said.

“This figure takes the number of administrative details in Israeli prisons to more than 3,290 Palestinians,” it added.

According to figures released by prisoners’ affairs groups, at least 8,800 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli prisons.
