Cardi B fires back at Bia’s diss track
When Memphis rapper GloRilla broke through to the mainstream via viral hit two years ago, the thing that really marked her arrival was when she linked up with Cardi B. Cardi spit a nasty verse on Glo’s “Tomorrow 2,” and the combination made perfect sense. Now, Cardi has jumped on another GloRilla remix, and this time, it’s the one for “Wanna Be,” Glo’s hit with Megan Thee Stallion. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
This spring, GloRilla released her Ehhthang Ehhthang mixtape, and its catchiest track is the Megan Thee Stallion collab “Wanna Be.” That one has the two of them going off over samples of Project Pat’s “Don’t Save Her” and Soulja Boy’s “Pretty Boy Swag”; Megan’s line about “white boy wasted, Channing Tatum” was stuck in my head for a long time.
Right now, Megan and GloRilla are on tour together. Earlier this week, they came to Madison Square Garden, and Cardi B, past collaborator of both Megan and GloRilla, came out as a surprise guest. When they were all onstage together, they announced that Cardi would be on the “Wanna Be” remix, and here she is right now. Cardi rhymes “make them hoes get anxiety” with “got my toes white like Matthew McConaughey,” which is perfect. Listen to the “Wanna Be” remix and watch the video for the original below.
American rapper Cardi B has finally responded to her colleague, Bia who mocked her following an emotional meltdown on an Instagram live feed.
DAILY POST recalls that Bia mocked Cardi B on Dreezy’s ‘B*tch Duh’ remix, saying she cannot follow the beat.
She went on to say she could never turn her phone on to cry on Livestream, shading Cardi B, who broke down in tears on an Instagram live session in December 2023 to call out her ex-husband, Offset for being deceitful.
Responding to the remix of Glorilla and Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Wanna Be’ remix, Cardi B said she hoped Bia would say what she said in the diss track to her face whenever they met.
“Guess I’m a teacher since you wanna sub me. She had no idea, thought she was on the shelf at IKEA. Hope she talks like that when I see her. B*tch please don’t nobody wanna be her [BIA],” she raps.
Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B have teamed up yet again, appearing together with GloRilla on a new remix of “Wanna Be.”
The original version of “Wanna Be” arrived as a single from Megan and GloRilla in April, and later appeared on the latter’s mixtape Ehhthang Ehhthang. The remix was confirmed during a recent stop of Megan’s “Hot Girl Summer Tour” at Madison Square Garden when GloRilla and Cardi took the stage for a live rendition of the song. Now, the recorded version is here in all of its glory.
