Gaza City, (Al Jazeera, AA, Wafa): The Health Ministry reported that in the past 24 hours, Israeli Defence Forces’ indiscriminate bombings across Gaza City killed 32 Palestinians and injured 59 others. This brings total of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces since 7 October to at least 34,183,  including 14,520 children and 10,000 women and 77,143 others injured including 12,000 children in Gaza strip, according to Health Ministry. In addition further 12,000 Palestinians are reported missing, presumed dead under the rubble.

A number of Palestinian civilians Tuesday were killed and dozens others were injured as the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip enters its 200th day.

Israeli gunboats targeted several beaches of Al-Zawaida, Deir Al-Balah, and Al-Nuseirat, while the areas north of the Gaza Strip saw a series of violent airstrikes, which resulted in the killing of a number of Palestinians, and injuring many others, amidst destruction of homes and property.

Israeli gunboats also fired shells towards Nuseirat Beach in the central Gaza Strip.

The Israeli artillery targeted north of Nuseirat camp in the center of the Gaza Strip, while warplanes raided Al-Thalatheni Street in the center of Gaza City.

The areas of northern Gaza and the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Strip, saw a series of violent raids by Israeli air force as well.

WAFA correspondent reported that the Israeli forces entered the town of Beit Hanoun, north of the Strip, from several directions amidst gunfire, while the Israeli artillery bombed the vicinity of the shelter centers on Zamo Street in the town.

He added that the Israeli artillery targeted Al-Shaima Street in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza, while military vehicles and drones opened fire towards Al-Mughraqa and Al-Zahraa in the central Gaza Strip.

Artillery shelling by the Israeli forces also continued on the neighborhoods of Al-Zaytoun, Al-Shuja’iya, and Al-Tuffah, east of Gaza City, resulting in the killing of at least three people and about 10 wounded, according to al-Baptist Hospital in the city.

The Israeli occupation army artillery targeted areas southwest of Gaza City with shells, while huge explosions and gunfire were heard.

An Israeli warplane also targeted the area around Wadi Gaza, north of Nuseirat Camp in the central Gaza Strip, and the area southeast of the Bureij Camp in the central Gaza Strip, causing injuries among civilians who were transported to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

Israeli artillery bombed the eastern areas of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, and intense fire was fired from Israeli military vehicles east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

The UN human rights chief on Tuesday decried the latest series of Israeli strikes on Gaza killing mostly women and children.

Volker Turk’s remarks came after at least nine children among 16 Palestinians were killed on Sunday in an Israeli bombing targeting several homes east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

“This is beyond warfare,” his spokesperson Ravina Shamdasani told a UN briefing in Geneva.

“We are also horrified by the destruction … the discovery of mass graves,” Shamdasani said.

At least 283 bodies have been recovered so far from the mass grave at the Nasser Medical Complex after the Israeli army withdrew from the city on April 7 following a four-month ground offensive, according to Gaza’s civil defense agency.

The UN calls for “independent, effective and transparent” investigations into the deaths, she said.

On reports that Israel will expand so-called “humanitarian zones” in Gaza ahead of its Rafah ground attack, she stressed: “There are no safe places in Gaza and any pretense that creating safe zones is actually dangerous.”

“What we need is an immediate cease-fire,” she reiterated.

Gaza medics continue to search for bodies in a hospital courtyard after Israeli soldiers raided the facility with at least 310 recovered so far from mass graves in Khan Younis.

According to Israeli government 1,139 Israelis were killed by Hamas on 7 October in southern Israel and 134 Israelis and foreign nationals are still detained by Hamas in Gaza.
