147 Palestinians killed across Gaza, 40 killed & injured near Al-Aqsa Hospital by Israeli bombing

London, (The Muslim News): Israeli bombing near Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital in Deir el-Balah, in central Gaza, killed and injured at least forty people according to Gaza’s Media Office.
Latest attack comes as Israel has intensified bombing and ground incursions in central and southern Gaza, with at least 147 people killed in the past day.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Palestinian ambassador to UN, Riyad Mansour, said eleven Palestinians have been killed every hour in the Gaza conflict that began in October.

Mansour said residents in Gaza are being killed, tortured and humiliated, and children are being amputated and orphaned as he called for an end to Israeli atrocities in the Palestinian enclave at a UN General Assembly meeting on a US veto for a Gaza cease-fire, reported Andolu Agency.

“During these 90 days, 11 Palestinians were killed every hour, including seven women and children. Every single hour for 90 days. Hundreds are killed every day to this day,” he said.

“Ninety days of hell on earth. Ninety days of massacres. How many more Palestinians killed till you say enough is enough? How many more tragedies? How much more destruction?” said the envoy.

Mansour said 1% of Palestinians in Gaza have been killed, and “that is the equivalent of 3 million Americans.”

“Three percent of Palestinians in Gaza have been wounded. Take a moment and imagine what that represents compared to your own population. That is the equivalent of 10 million Americans,” he said. “Eighty-seven percent of Palestinians in Gaza have been displaced. Take a moment and imagine what that represents compared to your own population. That is the equivalent of 284 million Americans.”

Mansour said supporting an immediate cease-fire is the only moral, legitimate and responsible position.

“Our people have a right to life. To freedom. To justice. Palestine is here to stay. The Palestinian people are here to stay. The Palestinian people will not disappear, but their resilience is no reason to prolong their suffering,” said the envoy

“Don’t call for peace and spread fire. If you want peace, start with a cease-fire. Cease fire. Cease fire. Now,” he said.

Israel intensifies bombing and ground incursions in central and southern Gaza with dozens killed in overnight attacks, including 15 from one family in Rafah City – an Israeli-declared “safe zone”.

The Israeli military says it has hit 150 targets around Gaza in a day as it continues to bomb areas in and around Maghazi and Khan Younis.

Deadly overnight Israeli attacks in central and southern Gaza have continued. At least 15 people, mostly women and children, belonging to the same family in Rafah, and six people sheltering in refugee camps in central Gaza, were killed in those attacks.

Daily raids by Israeli forces across the West Bank have intensified since October 7, with at least 340 Palestinians killed and almost 4,000 wounded.

Overnight, homes were targeted in the western side of Rafah city in the Tall as-Sultan area. This is very close to al-Mawasi evacuation zone, where many Palestinians are living in makeshift tents.

Fifteen people, all from the same family, were killed in the overnight strikes on Rafah. The vast majority are women and children, all sheltering in the same home.

On the eastern side of Rafah, the Israeli military is still carrying out artillery shelling on homes and razing agricultural land. This is taking place east of Salah al-Din Street.

In the Bureij and Maghazi refugee camps, the Israeli military has continued its bombardment. At least six people are reported killed as of the early hours of this morning.

We were expecting a de-escalation of Israel’s aerial bombardment as the war enters its third phase, but we are seeing the opposite.
We can now bring you more on the Israeli air strike in Tall as-Sultan that our colleague Hani Mahmoud mentioned earlier.

As he mentioned, 15 people, including women and children, were killed in the attack that targeted a house.

“We were bombed tonight while in a house that was crowded with displaced people,” Harb Nofal, a resident of the house that was targeted, said.

“There are four women among those killed. What was their fault? What was the fault of the children [who were killed]?”

Dozens of Palestinian civilians were killed, and others were injured, in missile and artillery shelling and gunfire by the Israeli occupation forces in various areas of the Gaza Strip, on the 96th day of the aggression against Gaza, Wafa news agency reported.

WAFA correspondent said that six civilians were killed and others were wounded by bullets from Israeli occupation forces stationed on the coastal road in the Sheikh Ajlin area, southwest of Gaza City. They were taken to Al-Shifa Hospital, west of the city.

15 civilians were killed and dozens were injured as a result of Israeli warplanes bombing with a missile an inhabited house belonging to Nofal family, west of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. The majority of them were transferred to Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital in the city.

Israeli warplanes bombed a house in Deir al-Balah camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip, causing dead and wounded who were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

The Israeli occupation artillery shelled the eastern and southern areas of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, and dozens were killed and wounded, the majority of whom were displaced from Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip.

The occupation artillery also bombed Al-Bureij and Al-Maghazi camps in the middle of the Gaza Strip, killing at least twenty civilians, the majority of whom were children, women, and the elderly.

A number of civilians were killed and others were injured as a result of the IDF targeting a house belonging to the Asalia family in the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli gunboats fired dozens of rocket shells towards citizens’ homes in Al-Waha and Sudaniya areas and the outskirts of the Beach Camp, west of Gaza City and off the central sea and south of the Strip, resulting in dozens of injuries.
