Gaza: 76 Palestinians killed, 102 injured by Israeli bombings last 24 hrs
London, (The Muslim News): According to Ministry of Health, 76 Palestinians were killed, and 102 were injured, by indiscriminate bombings by Israeli Defence Forces in the past 24 hours. Since 7 October 2023 at least 32,490, Palestinians including 13,000 children have been killed, and 74,889 injured in Gaza, according to MoH in. A further 12,000 are reported missing, presumed dead under the rubble.
At least 18 Palestinians have died trying to recover airdropped aid into Gaza, with six more bodies recovered from the sea.
Earlier this month, Israeli air strikes targeted tribal aid distribution workers in Gaza City’s Kuwait Roundabout, killing at least 23 people.
On February 29, Israeli forces opened fire on hundreds of Palestinians as they gathered south of Gaza City waiting to receive humanitarian aid in what is known as the “flour massacre”, leaving 118 dead and 760 wounded.
Despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire during the holy month of Ramadan, the Israeli occupation forces continued today its attacks and airstrikes against the besieged Gaza Strip, resulting in several casualties.
According to sources, nine civilians were killed in Israeli airstrikes that targeted several homes and areas in Gaza City, according to Wafa News Agency.
Israeli warplanes launched several raids targeting the Ajor family home west of the city, killing eight civilians, including children and women, and injuring several others.
A Palestinian was also killed and others were injured in the Israeli bombardment of the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in Gaza City.
At least seven civilians were also injured in a series of Israeli strikes that targeted areas near the city’s eastern district of Zeitoun.
Scores of civilians were killed and others were wounded today in a barrage of Israeli airstrikes that targeted several areas in the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that 11 civilians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house for the Dhair family in the city of Rafah.
Furthermore, Israeli fighter jets targeted a house belonging to al-Hamayda family in the city, causing several injuries among its residents.
Israeli tanks stationed near the Kuwait Roundabout area in Gaza City, north of the Strip, opened a barrage of gunfire toward a group of civilians while they were waiting for humanitarian aid, critically wounding two.
The Israeli occupation forces raided al-Nasser Hospital in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip and detained several medical personnel and displaced persons who sought refuge inside the hospital.
The soldiers also ordered a number of civilians to evacuate the hospital.

Meanwhile in the West Bank, fourth Palestinian dies after all-night Israeli raid on Qabatia town, south of Jenin.
Medical sources have told Al Jazeera that Walid al-Usta, who was wounded in an earlier Israeli drone raid near the occupied West Bank city, has died.
Two other Palestinians were killed in this drone raid, one 19-year-old and one 27-year-old, reportedly from outside the refugee camp. Nine others were injured at the time of the attack.
Additionally, one 19-year-old young man was killed after he was shot by Israeli soldiers inside the city.
According to Israeli government 1,139 Israelis were killed by Hamas on 7 October in southern Israel and 134 Israelis and foreign nationals are still detained by Hamas in Gaza.
